1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of aminopen.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of AminoPen products. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and to purchase our products. By using the Site or placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Research use only and acceptable use
AminoPen products are precision dosing hardware sold for laboratory and research use only (RUO). They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. They are not intended for human or animal use, or for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase and intended use comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional requirements. You agree not to use our products for any unlawful, unsafe, or prohibited purpose.
4. Product descriptions and accuracy
We work to describe our products — including the AminoPen Pro, AminoPen Go, and 3 ml glass cartridges — as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, specifications, images, or other content are complete, current, or error-free. Specifications may change, and we may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
5. Pricing and orders
Prices, availability, and offers are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at any time — including after an order is placed — for reasons such as suspected fraud, ordering errors, pricing errors, stock limitations, or shipping restrictions. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will issue a refund to the original payment method. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
6. Shipping and risk of loss
We ship from within the United States and focus on US domestic shipping. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the products to the carrier. Certain items — specifically pen needles, where offered — are subject to state shipping restrictions and may not be available to all destinations. 7. Returns
Returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy, including the return window, hygiene exclusions for opened items, and handling of defective products. Please review that policy before purchasing.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including the AminoPen name, logos, text, graphics, product designs, and images — is owned by or licensed to AminoPen and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly provided, the Site and our products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Because products are sold for research use only, you assume full responsibility for evaluating their suitability for your intended use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AminoPen and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a product will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AminoPen and its owners, employees, and suppliers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party — including any use of our products outside the research-use-only scope.
12. Governing law
